The Weinstein Co. has unveiled final specs for its debut Blu-ray release '1408,' which will hit stores this September with Dolby TrueHD audio and hours of bonus material.
As previously reported, '1408' will mark the Weinstein's first Blu-ray release of a theatrical title when it hits stores September 16 (along with another recent Stephen King adaptation, 'The Mist').
The full details are now in for '1408,' which will enjoy a BD-50 dual-layer presentation with 1080p/VC-1 video and Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround audio.
The extensive extras mirror the previous two-disc DVD release, including audio commentary with director Mikael Hafstrom and screenwriters Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski, a pair of featurettes ("Inside Room 1408," "The Secrets of 1408"), a series of Webisodes hosted by John Cusack, deleted scenes, two alternate endings, and the original theatrical trailer.
As previously announced, Genius has set the suggested retail price at $39.98.
You'll find complete specs for '1408' linked from our Blu-ray Release Schedule, where it's indexed under September 16.
