As previously reported, Warner Brothers is planning a double dip with the release of 'Natural Born Killers: Director's Cut' on August 25, but that date has now been pushed back a month and a half.
The new date for this release is October 13, with no reason given for the delay.
The two-disc set presents the film with four additional minutes of graphic footage, on a BD-50 dual-layer disc in 1080p/VC-1 video and English Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround audio.
New bonus features boast an introduction by Stone, the "NBK Evolution: How Would it All Go Down Now?" documentary, a 'Director's Cut' theatrical trailer, and digibook packaging.
Extras carried over from previous video versions include audio commentary with Stone, six deleted scenes, alternate ending, "Chaos Rising" featurette, and a Charlie Rose interview with Stone.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray has been set at $28.99.
