Fans of Hollywood's classic musicals will soon have some high-def eye candy of their own, as Warner has announced the dual-format release of a feature-packed 'That's Entertainment' collection for November.
Although the three-volume set has been rumored for weeks now, this morning Warner officially announced 'That’s Entertainment: The Complete Collection' for release on both Blu-ray and HD DVD November 13.
Billed as a three-disc giftset, the collection will include all three films in the musical anthology series -- 'That’s Entertainment!,' 'That’s Entertainment, Part 2' and 'That’s Entertainment! III.'
Warner is also promising more than five hours of extras, including three documentaries, premiere night coverage, TV specials, making-of featurettes, an extensive video jukebox of musical outtakes from classic films, and more.
Tech specs were incomplete at press time, but all three films are expected to include 1080p video and Dolby TrueHD audio.
Warner has announced an MSRP of $79.98 for the complete set. The studio has not announced any plans for standalone releases of the three individual 'That's Entertainment' films.
