As first reported earlier this week, Warner will debut 'Batman Begins,' 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,' 'Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory,' 'The Polar Express' and 'Tim Burton's Corpse Bride' all on October 10.
In addition to all of the same extras found on their standard-def DVD counterparts, both 'Batman Begins' and 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' will include Warner's HD-exclusive "In-Movie Experience" interactive video documentaries, which feature new material shot especially for the HD DVD releases by the filmmakers.
'Batman Begins' will also get a audio boost, as Warner will be including a Dolby TrueHD track on the disc. The remaining titles will all feature Dolby Digital-Plus 5.1 surround options.
However, in a rather odd move, 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' will include a Dolby TrueHD track of the film's isolated score, though the movie itself will be presented in Dolby Digital-Plus only. Go figure.
Full specs for all five titles, including box art, have been added to our complete HD DVD Release Schedule.
