Warner Home Video has announced it is delaying the Blu-ray and HD DVD releases of 'The Road Warrior,' pushing back its original street date by one week.
The George Miller-directed, Mel Gibson action classic was originally announced last month for a simultaneous next-gen debut on May 8. According to the studio, the title will now hit stores on May 15.
Specs and supplements for both releases remain intact, with each expected to include identical 1080p transfers, Dolby Digital 5.1 surround tracks, and extras including an audio commentary with Miller and director of photography Dean Semler and the film's original theatrical trailer.
Retail also holds firm at $28.99 apiece.
