After almost a year of anticipation, Warner has officially set an early-February Blu-ray debut for the Oscar-winning classic 'Amadeus.'
Starring Tom Hulce and F. Murray Abraham, the critically-acclaimed, Milos Forman-directed musical biopic was originally expected to receive a Blu-ray release in 2008. Warner has at last confirmed a street date for the 1984 Best Picture winner, which will get the DigiBook treatment on February 10.
Tech specs will see the 180-minute Director's Cut version of the film spread across a BD-50 dual-layer disc in 1080p/VC-1 video and English Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround audio.
Extras include an audio commentary with Foreman, as well as "The Making of 'Amadeus'" documentary.
Also in the Blu-ray set will be a bonus CD sampler with ten musical selections from the film, and a Digital Copy of the Director's Cut (in SD).
Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $34.95.
