Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced its second "U-Control"-enhanced HD DVD title, giving the sleeper comedy hit 'Accepted' the full-on next-gen treatment on November 14.
Though hardly the kind of big-budget action blockbuster you'd expect to receive such lavish treatment, Universal will pull out all the stops for 'Accepted.' Presented as a HD-30/DVD-9 combo disc, the HD side will get a 1080p/VC-1 video transfer and full-on Dolby TrueHD 5.1 surround track (a Dolby Digital-Plus option is also included).
Extras are numerous, with a cast and crew audio commentary, three featurettes, deleted scenes, a music video and a still gallery.
Exclusive HD content includes a picture-in-picture video commentary as well as Universal's "U-Control," which like the recent 'The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift' allows the user to control what HD bonus content to watch and when via an interactive interface.
All this can be yours for Universal's standard new release list price of $39.95.
You'll find full specs for 'Accepted,' as well as box art, in our complete HD DVD Release Schedule.
