Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced it will bring the puppet scarefest 'Dead Silence' to HD DVD on July 10, day-and-date with the standard-def DVD version.
The horror-thriller from the 'Saw' creative team of James Wan and Leigh Whannell rang up $25 million at the box office this winter.
Universal says it will give the film the special edition treatment, with bonus extras including three making-of featurettes, deleted scenes, an alternate opening and ending, and a music video.
Tech specs include a 1080p transfer and Dolby Digital-Plus 5.1 surround track.
Universal has set a $39.95 list price for this HD DVD/DVD combo release.
We've added full specs for 'Dead Silence' to our HD DVD Release Schedule, under July 10. Watch for box cover art to be added to the listing in the coming days.
