Universal has officially unveiled full specs for 'Wanted,' which will hit Blu-ray this December in standard and collector's edition versions with hours of bonus content.
As we've previously reported, the studio alerted retailers to a December 2 Blu-ray bow for the James McAvoy-Angelina Jolie action smash in standard and collectible editions, though the studio provided only preliminary specs.
The full media release has now been issued, with both the standard and Collector's Edition Blu-ray versions set to include identical two-disc sets.
Extras will feature a suite of making-of featurettes ( "Cast and Characters," "Stunts on the L Train," "Special Effects: The Art of the Impossible," "Groundbreaking Visual Effects: From Imagination to Execution," "The Origins of Wanted: Bringing the Graphic Novel to Life," "Through the Eyes of Visionary Director Timur Bekmambetov," "Wanted: Motion Comics"), deleted scenes, an alternate opening, and the "Making of Wanted: The Game" interactive feature.
Exclusive to the Blu-ray will be four U-Control extras including picture-in-picture, a scene explorer, motion comics, and assassin profiles. BD-Live features boast My Chat, MyScenes Sharing, and a "My Wanted" commentary maker.
Tech specs for the BD-50 dual-layer presentation enjoy 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video, a DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 Surround track (48kHz/16-bit), and additional Dolby Digital and subtitle offerings in English, French, and Spanish.
Adding value to the Collector's Edition will be deluxe packaging boasting a quartet of collectible postcards, and a lenticular scene in an acrylic frame.
Finally, Universal has unveiled the Blu-ray box art for the standard Blu-ray of 'Wanted,' as well as a look at the insides of the Collector's Edition set:
As previously announced, suggested list price for the standard Blu-ray has been set at $39.99, and $69.98 for the Collector's Edition.
You'll find the latest specs for both versions of 'Wanted' linked from our Blu-ray Release Schedule, where they're indexed under December 2.
