Everyone's favorite British prankster will enjoy host of extras and the Dolby TrueHD treatment when 'Mr. Bean's Holiday' hits HD DVD this November.
As we first reported late last month, Universal is planning a November 27 HD DVD bow for the $225 million-grossing worldwide hit.
The studio has now revealed full details for the HD DVD/DVD combo release, which is set to carry over all of the extras from the concurrently-released standard-def DVD, including a trio of featurettes ("French Beans," "Beans in Cannes," "The Human Bean"), deleted scenes, and the film's theatrical trailer. (There are no U-Control exclusives, though at least a couple of web-enabled features are expected.)
Tech specs include 1080p/VC-1 video and both Dolby TrueHD (48kHz/24-bit) and Dolby Digital-Plus (1.5mbps) 5.1 surround tracks.
Finally, the studio has unveiled the disc's final cover art:
As originally announced, the HD DVD version will retail for $39.98.
