Jason Bourne is back: Universal Studios Home Entertainment has officially announced that it will bring 'The Bourne Ultimatum' and the three-movie box set 'The Jason Bourne Collection' to HD DVD this December.
The third (and reportedly final) entry in the smash spy franchise starring Matt Damon, Universal says 'The Bourne Ultimatum' will hit HD DVD day-and-date with the standard-def DVD edition December 11.
Tech specs were not yet available at press time, but supplements are expected to be extensive, with the HD DVD boasting additional "U-Control" enhancements exclusive to the high-def version.
Retail price is $39.98 for the HD DVD/DVD Combo.
Universal is also planning to bring the previously-released first two installments in the series, The Bourne Identity' and 'The Bourne Supremacy' together with Ultimatum' in a brand-new limited edition HD DVD box set entitled 'The Jason Bourne Collection.' Also due day-and-date on December 11, a full press release with further details is expected shortly, so stay tuned!
