Adding another new release to its spring HD DVD line-up, Universal Studios Home Entertainment will bring the indie hit 'Smokin' Aces' to the format April 17 concurrent with the standard-def DVD.
The star-laden crime caper, which features Jeremy Piven, Ryan Reynolds and music superstar Alicia Keyes in her big-screen debut, earned $30 million at the domestic box office earlier this year.
Universal will offer up a very extra-packed HD DVD/DVD combo release on May. Tech specs include a 1080p/VC-1 transfer and Dolby Digital-Plus 5.1 surround track at 1.5mbps. Among the extras are two audio commentaries, three featurettes, deleted scenes and outtakes.
List price is a suggested $39.95.
Full specs for 'Smokin' Aces' can be found in our HD DVD Release Schedule, under April 17
