The series will take a step forward the day before Halloween
When the first 'Assassin's Creed' game came out there was quite a bit of excitement about the way the series was going to move forward. Each game, we were told, would be set in an exciting new time period and venue.
The success of 'Assassin's Creed II' slowed that advance a bit. Ezio proved a very popular character and Ubisoft decided to stick with him for a few more games. It's a decision that paid off big, of course.
On October 30th, 2012, we'll be saying hello to a new protagonist, a new era and a new setting in 'Assassin's Creed III'. We'll also be seeing what Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot says will be "the biggest launch in Ubisoft history."
