Two More Blu-ray Titles Trickle Out from Paramount

Posted Oct 3, 2006 at 02:31 PM PDT by Unknown Author
Paramount Home Entertainment will finally release the remaining two of its HD DVD catalog titles not yet available on the Blu-ray format in early 2007, the studio announced today.

Of the Paramount catalog titles released on HD DVD, only 'We Were Soldiers' and the 2004 remake of 'The Manchurian Candidate' have remained unscheduled on Blu-ray. That will change on January 23, 2007, when the studio will finally issue the two titles to the rival next-gen format.

As Paramount has only just added the discs to its official retail and press website, no tech specs or supplement details are available. However, both are likely to include comparable extras to their HD DVD counterparts.

Paramount has set a suggested list price of $29.95 for both releases.

The latest details for each have been added to our Blu-ray Release Schedule. Stay tuned for further details.
