Carla's Song - Murderer, kidnapper, and folk legend Phoolan Devi (Seema Biswas) endured a life of rape and abuse after being sold into marriage at the age of eleven. A spree of murders to avenge the death of her lover, known as the Behmai Massacre, makes Devi the object of a massive police hunt in this story that shocked the world - and brought a government to its knees.
June 9
Absolute Beginners - Colin is a brazen 19-year-old with his finger on the pulse of Soho's burgeoning scene of artists. But when his beautiful girlfriend Suzette tires of their poor and struggling existence, Colin finds himself losing touch with himself and her. And when an older, richer man sweeps Suzette away, a devastated Colin embarks on a desperate journey to win her back!
State of Grace - Terry Noonan returns home to New York's Hells Kitchen after a ten year absence. He soon hooks up with childhood pal Jackie who is involved in the Irish mob run by his brother Frankie. Terry also rekindles an old flame with Jackie's sister Kathleen. Soon, however, Terry is torn between his loyalty to his friends and his loyalties to others.
Mississippi Mermaid - Louis Mahe is a tobacco planter at Reunion Island. He is waiting for Julie Roussel to marry her. He only knows her by mail. The woman that comes does not like the picture he got, but he marries her anyway.
The Young Lions - Marlon Brando, Montgomery Clift, Dean Martin. A handsome German ski instructor turned Nazi, a forlorn and romantic American Jew and a Broadway playboy meet before WWII and then again during the war.
The Night of the Generals - Peter O'Toole and Omar Sharif star in this powerful thriller about a Nazi general who becomes a serial killer and the investigator who brings him in.
