Born on the Ouya, but now revamped for the PS4 and PC.
'TowerFall' debuted last summer as an exclusive Ouya title and with a premise that is as simple as it is intriguing, platforming archery combat. 'TowerFall Ascension' does this premise one better by adding a new co-op Quest mode, which when combined with 50 additional versus arenas, has all the makings of a great local multiplayer title.
Making a standout Ouya title is no mean task, and developer Matt Makes Games Inc has continued to support the title with regular updates.
From Matt Thorson (of Matt Makes Games Inc), "Making TowerFall has been the most rewarding experience of my life. When I put love into the game, I see it returned to me tenfold by the TowerFall community, and it only appears to be growing."
'TowerFall Ascension' is available now on PSN for $14.99 and is on sale on Steam for $12.74. Other additions for the new version include four new unlockable archers, which brings the total playable archers to eight, new power-ups and new versus variant options.
