The desperate race for freedom and survival, inspired by true events, is planned for Blu-ray release this April.
In an early announcement to retailers, Image Entertainment has revealed 'The Way Back' will have a Blu-ray release on April 19.
Adapted from author Slavomir Rawicz's gripping memoir The Long Walk: The True Story of a Trek to Freedom, writer/director Peter Weir's sweeping POW drama stars Jim Sturgess, Colin Farrell, Ed Harris, and Saoirse Ronan.
Specs have yet to be revealed, but supplements will include a behind-the-scenes featurette and a trailer.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $29.97.
