The intriguing add-on for the game will come separately, or as a part of the season pass.
The ‘Assassin’s Creed’ games have always played with history a bit, but the first piece of DLC for ‘Assassin’s Creed III’ takes this a step further by tasking you to dethrone the George Washington from his throne as the king of America.
“While Assassin’s Creed III concentrates on history as it happens, we wanted to take some liberties with this DLC and tell you how things could have happened,” says executive producer Sebastian Puel. “History is our playground, and [Assassin's Creed] teams have always loved playing with historical facts and their consequences as a way to better understand a time period.”
The team hasn’t revealed much more about the content, except for an intense picture of George Washington sitting on his throne.
