Jack Skellington will be trick-or-treating his way to Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D in September.
In an early announcement to retailers, Disney is preparing 'The Nightmare Before Christmas: 20th Anniversary Edition' for Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D on September 10.
Bored with the same old scare-and-scream routine, Pumpkin King Jack Skellington longs to spread the joy of Christmas. But his merry mission puts Santa in jeopardy and creates a nightmare for good little boys and girls everywhere! Featuring the vocal talents of Chris Sarandon ('The Princess Bride') as Jack Skellington's speaking voice, Danny Elfman ('Simpsons') as Jack Skellington's singing voice & Catherine O’Hara ('Home Alone') as Sally. Directed by Henry Selick ('Coraline,' 'James and the Giant Peach') and produced by Tim Burton ('Edward Scissorhands,' 'Corpse Bride').
Supplements have not been announced yet, but the Blu-ray will feature 1080p video and a Dolby TrueHD 7.1 soundtrack.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray 3D/Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack is $49.99 and suggested list price for the Blu-ray/DVD combo pack is $36.99.
