Among the promised 2,500 DC characters are fourteen variations of Superman.
5th Cell's latest 'Scribblenauts' title is not messing around when it comes to taking advantage of the DC license tie-in for the game. With the game set to arrive September 24th for the Wii U, 3DS and PC, 5th Cell has shared some more details about the game.
From 5th Cell, "Scribblenauts Unmasked - A DC Comics Adventure is a new game that melds the boundless creativity of the award-winning video game franchise with thousands of DC Comics characters and objects across DC Comics worlds - all drawn in the classic Scribblenauts art style.
"The game features a story where players embark as protagonist Maxwell on an imaginative and comical quest, taking them through Gotham City, Metropolis, Atlantis and other iconic locales from the DC Comics universe. Fueled by the player's imagination, Maxwell must use his magic notebook to put a stop to the villains' evil schemes and save the day!"
Just to touch on the level of DC Comics universe available in the game, 5th Cell has shared a breakdown of the fourteen different Supermans that will be available in the game. That set includes Classic Superman, First Appearance Superman, Kal-El Superman, Kingdom Come Superman, Man of Steel Superman, Man of Tomorrow Superman, New Frontier Superman, Superman Blue, Superman Red, Red Son Superman, Speeding Bullets Superman, The Dark Side Superman (Good), The Dark Side Superman (Bad), and Superman Beyond.
'Scribblenauts Unmasked' is set to release in September for the Wii U, 3DS, and PC, and is available for pre-order.
