Martin Scorsese's classic Academy Award-nominated film coming to Blu-ray this April has been fully detailed!
As previously reported, Sony says 'Taxi Driver' is coming to Blu-ray on April 5.
The crime drama is currently ranked #41 in IMDb.com's Top 250 and was nominated for four Oscars including Best Music - Original Score (Bernard Herrmann), Best Actor (Robert De Niro), Best Supporting Actress (Jodie Foster) and Best Picture.
The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video (4k digital restoration from the original negative), a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements will include: Audio commentary with Director Martin Scorsese and writer Paul Schrader (recorded in 1986 by The Criterion Collection); Audio commentary with Paul Schrader; Audio commentary with Professor Robert Kolker; Martin Scorsese on Taxi Driver; God's Lonely Man; Producing Taxi Driver; Influence and Appreciation: A Martin Scorsese Tribute; Taxi Driver Stories; Making Taxi Driver; Travis' New York; Travis' New York Locations; Storyboard to Film Comparisons with Martin Scorsese; Animated Photo Galleries; and Blu-ray exclusive Interactive Script to Screen; and movieIQ.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $24.95.
