For those who give a dam (get it?) the 2011 dramedy will clog up Blu-ray's waterways this August.
In an early retailer announcement, Summit Entertainment will release 'The Beaver' on Blu-ray on August 23.
The movie is directed by Jodie Foster ('Little Man Tate') and stars Mel Gibson (the 'Lethal Weapon' franchise) as a hopelessly depressed man who finds a new lease on life when he develops another personality through a beaver hand-puppet.
The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements include an audio commentary with Jodie Foster, deleted scenes, and Everything Is Going To Be O.K. (featurette on the making of 'The Beaver').
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $30.49.
