The 1993 action/adventure film starring Sandra Bullock will be heading down river on Blu-ray in January.
In an announcement to retailers, Starz/Anchor Bay says 'Fire on the Amazon' is coming to Blu-ray on January 18.
Produced by Academy-Award® winning film legend Roger Corman and boasting a cast headed by Academy-Award® winner Sandra Bullock, 'Fire on the Amazon' is an epic story of courage and emotion, centered around the fierce battle for possession of one of the most mysterious, dangerous and beautiful places on Earth – the Amazon jungle.
Directed by Luis Llosa ('Anaconda,' 'The Specialist') and co-starring Craig Sheffer ('One Tree Hill'), Juan Fernandez ('Crocodile Dundee II,' 'The Collector') and Judith Chapman ('The Sweetest Thing,' 'The Young and the Restless,'), 'Fire on the Amazon' is a sultry and passionate adventure played against the ferocious beauty of the Amazon.
The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 soundtrack, and no supplements have been revealed.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $17.99.
