LG's curved full HD smartphone will be available in March.
Sprint has announced a release date for the LG G Flex 2. The mobile handset will be available through the carrier on March 14 for an off-contract SRP of $504.
The smartphone features dynamically curved layers across the front, back, sides and top-to-bottom edges at a radius of 400mm to 700mm, allowing it to conform better to a user's face. The 5.5-inch P-OLED screen offers a full HD resolution of 1920x1080 with 403ppi. Under the hood, the device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with 2.0GHz 64-bit Octa-Core CPU, Adreno 430 GPU, 2GB DDR4 RAM, and an integrated 3,000mAh battery all running Android 5.0. A rear 13MP camera and a front 2.1MP camera are also included. Models will be released in Platinum Silver and a Sprint exclusive Volcano Red.
Pre-orders will begin on February 20. Through Sprint Easy Pay, well-qualified buyers can purchase the LG G Flex2 with $0 down, no finance fees, and 24 easy monthly payments of $21 (for a total of $504).
