Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has unveiled full specs for the June 12 Blu-ray release of 'Ghost Rider,' which will hit next-gen in a new, unrated extended cut.
The film, which grossed over $100 million at the domestic box office and is already shaping up to be one of Blu-ray's most anticipated new releases this summer, will be presented in a newly-extended version with footage not seen in theaters when it bows the disc day-and-date with the standard-def version on June 12, as first reported late last month.
Other extras include two audio commentaries (the first with director Mark Steven Johnson and effects supervisor Kevin Mack, and the second with producer Gary Foster), the "Spirit of Vengeance: The Making of 'Ghost Rider'" documentary and the Theatrical Trailer.
Tech specs include a BD-50 dual-layer disc, a 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 transfer and an uncompressed PCM 5.1 surround track (48kHz/16-bit/4.6mpbs).
Sony has set a $38.96 list price for the release.
Full specs have now been added for 'Ghost Rider' to our Blu-ray Release Schedule, under June 12. Watch for a full review of the title in the coming weeks.
