In an early announcement to retailers, Sony is working on 'Jodorowsky's Dune' for Blu-ray on July 8.
Jodorowsky's Dune chronicles the legendary Chilean director's mid-1970 incredibly ambitious attempt to adapt Frank Herbert's cult science fiction novel Dune. The project was to star Mick Jagger, Orson Welles, Salvador Dali, and David Carradine, and have an elaborate soundtrack by Pink Floyd.
Specs have yet to be revealed, but supplements will include deleted scenes.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $40.99.
