Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced it will bring the CGI penguin-tactular 'Surf's Up' to Blu-ray on October 9.
Featuring scores of cute animated penguins, a soundtrack filled with bouncy songs and the voice talents of Shia LeBeouf and Jon Heder, 'Surf's Up' may have failed to scale the same box office heights as other recent arctic-themed smashes as 'Happy Feet' and 'March of the Penguins,' but that's not stopping Sony from giving the film the red carpet treatment when it arrives on Blu-ray this fall.
Among the announced extras are a filmmaker audio commentary (participants still TBA), a three-part making-of documentary, music videos and more. Tech specs include 1080p video and an uncompressed PCM 5.1 surround track.
Sony has set a $38.95 suggested list price.
You'll find all the latest specs for 'Surf's Up' linked from our Blu-ray Release Schedule, under October 9. Watch this space for final details and box art to be officially confirmed in the coming days.
