Complete specs are in for 'The Company,' the acclaimed TNT mini-series that will make its Blu-ray debut this October from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
As we've previously reported, TV Shows on DVD first got the scoop back in July that Sony was planning to bring the Ridley Scott-produced, Emmy-nominated 'The Company' to Blu-ray on October 23, day-and-date with the standard-def DVD version.
The studio has now revealed complete tech specs and supplement details for the Blu-ray version, which is set to contain the complete 238-minute mini-series spread across two BD-25 single-layer discs.
Video will presented in 1080p and 1.78:1 widescreen, though the release will mark another break from Sony's usual support of uncompressed PCM high-resolution audio, and will feature a Dolby Digital 5.1 surround track only.
Bonus features will include a "Real People & Events that Inspired 'The Company'" documentary, as well as an additional behind-the-scenes featurette.
Sony has set a $39.98 list price for the set.
As always, you find the latest specs and details for 'The Company' linked from our Blu-ray Release Schedule where it's indexed under October 23.
