Sony Pictures is bringing the Al Pacino crime thriller '88 Minutes' to Blu-ray this September.
Starring Pacino and Alicia Witt, '88 Minutes' failed to make much of an impression on critics or audiences, and grossed a meager $20 million at the domestic box office. Sony will give the film another shot on Blu-ray when it debuts the Jon Avnet-directed film September 16, day-and-date with the standard DVD.
Extras include an audio commentary with Avnet, a pair of featurettes ("Director's Point of View," "The Character Within") and an alternate ending.
Tech specs enjoy a BD-50 dual-layer presentation, with 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video and English Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround and subtitle tracks in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese.
Suggested retail for the Blu-ray has been set at $38.95.
