At this week's Comic-Con, Sony Pictures announced plans to package three of effects legend Ray Harryhausen's biggest favorites in a new Blu-ray box set.
Though there's no exact street date as of yet, Sony has issued a four-color brochure from the show floor promising to bring 'The Ray Harryhausen Collection' to Blu-ray sometime this October.
The three-disc compilation is set to include the new-to-Blu-ray 'Earth vs. the Flying Saucers' and 'It Came from Beneath the Sea,' plus the previously-released '20 Million Miles to Earth.'
Tech specs and supplement details for the set have not yet been issued, but we'll keep you posted.
Exact pricing information also has yet to be confirmed, though Sony has told us that the titles will be available as individual stand-alone releases as well as bundled in the 3-Pack.
As we await further details, we've added listings for all of the new Ray Harryhausen titles to the "Release Dates Pending" section of our Blu-ray Release Schedule.
