Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced it will bring the Sandra Bullock thriller 'Premonition' to Blu-ray this July.
Despite Bullock's usual considerable pulling power at the box office, 'Premonition' took a critical drubbing during its theatrical release this past winter, and scared up a only a meager $30 million domestic gross.
Sony will give the film another push when it hits Blu-ray on July 17, day-and-date with the standard-def DVD. Though no supplement details are yet available, the studio is billing the release as a special edition so we expect considerable extras.
Tech specs include a 1080p transfer and Sony's usual uncompressed PCM 5.1 surround track (48kHz/16-bit/4.6mbps).
Sony has set a $38.95 list price for 'Premonition.'
We've added the latest details for the title to our Blu-ray Release Schedule, under July 17. Watch for complete specs to be revealed soon.
