Two more Academy Award-winning classics are bound for Blu-ray in May!
In an early announcement to retailers, 20th Century Fox has revealed Billy Wilder's 1959 comedy 'Some Like It Hot' (starring Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon) will hit Blu-ray on May 10, and a 50th Anniversary Edition of the 1961 classic 'The Hustler' (featuring Paul Newman and Jackie Gleason) will be available a week later on May 17.
'Some Like It Hot' was nominated for six Academy Awards winning Best Costume Design - Black-and-White and is currently ranked #79 in IMDb.com's Top 250 and 'The Hustler' was nominated for nine Oscars (including Best Actor - Paul Newman, Best Director, and Best Picture) winning Best Cinematography - Black-and-White and Best Art Direction/Set Decoration - Black-and-White and is currently #193 on IMDb.com.
There's no word on tech specs or extras as of yet, but each apparently will be a digibook treatment and suggested list price for the Blu-rays is $34.99.
