Making an early announcement to retailers, Disney/Miramax has set an August debut for the indie comedy 'Smart People.'
Starring Dennis Quaid, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Ellen Page, 'Smart People' received mixed critical reaction and grossed only $20 million at the domestic box office. Disney will give the dramedy another shot on Blu-ray August 12, when it streets day-and-date with the standard DVD.
Announced extras include audio commentary with the filmmakers, the "Smartest People" featurette, deleted scenes and outtakes.
Tech specs feature 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video and Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround audio (at 48kHz/24-bit).
Suggested retail price will list for $34.99.
