BBC Home Video has announced its latest TV-on-high-def release, setting an early-July Blu-ray date for 'Torchwood: The Complete Second Season.'
Arriving on July 7th (day-and-date with the standard DVD), the four-disc set follows 'Torchwood: The Complete First Season,' which BBC debuted on Blu-ray last Fall.
Tech specs will see all thirteen second-season episodes spread across four BD-50 dual-layer discs, with 1080p video (1.78:1) and Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround audio.
There are no announced extras as of yet, but an extensive package of bonus features is expected.
We are also awaiting word on a confirmed suggested list price, but we'll keep you posted.
You'll find the latest specs for 'Torchwood: The Complete Second Season' linked from our Blu-ray Release Schedule, where it's indexed under July 7.
