Sure, it's geared towards commercial applications, but that doesn't mean you can't set up your own video wall.
The book '1984' inspired many to think about the government's control over us, while others took from it a warning about rampant censorship. The folks at Samsung took a note from the novel too, and are working hard to create video walls.
Alright, so there's probably not really an Orwellian inspiration, but the company's new 55 inch sets are perfect for filling your walls from floor to ceiling with the ever present glowing screen. They've got bezels of 3.8mm on the top and left, while 1.9mm bezels are present on the bottom and right sides. That's a total of just 5.7mm of space between two sets side by side.
If you prefer a smaller set for your video wall, you can pick up a 46 inch model that features a total bezel of 7.6mm, which is 2mm larger, but still incredibly small. There's no word yet on when these sets will be available for public or commercial purchase.
