Samsung's wireless audio systems can now stream from Spotify Connect.
Samsung has announced a partnership with Spotify to bring their streaming music service to Samsung's line of Shape Audio speakers. Now Samsung Shape owners and Spotify users can control their speakers and stream music directly from the Spotify app.
"More than ever before, Samsung is giving consumers seamless ways to better integrate sound and music in their daily lives," said Eric Jung, Vice President of the Visual Display business at Samsung Electronics. "We are excited to bring Spotify's premium streaming music service to our Shape Wireless Audio-Multiroom ecosystem. It gives our customers more options to connect to and customize their favorite music, taking the listening experience to the next level."
The Samsung Shape Speakers are now the first audio products to allow Spotify Connect streaming to more than two speakers at the same time, allowing users to enjoy stereo and multi-room audio from Spotify's curated playlists, personalized radio and growing library of songs. The Samsung Shape M5 and Shape M7 speakers can wirelessly play music from a variety of devices like laptops, PCs, and smartphones, and can be paired through Wi-Fi with other Samsung products like soundbars and home entertainment systems.
Samsung's Shape M5 is on sale now for $248, and the Samsung Shape M7 is currently on sale for $328.
