The glasses, designed to help hearing impaired moviegoers, will be compatible with both 2D and 3D movies.
There's great news for moviegoers with hearing disabilities today as Regal Entertainment and Sony have teamed up to finally bring subtitle glasses to movie theaters in the States.
Simply stated, the glasses add a line of closed captioned text for those wearing them. The location of the text is adjustable on the glasses, so you can move it to avoid blocking the screen. 3D isn't a problem for the new subtitle glasses either. Simply attaching a clip-on filter to the glasses will provide a 3D experience while the text stays nice and clear.
These glasses will start hitting theaters this month and will be available in a majority of Regal theaters by early 2013.
