Two new headphone models have been revealed.
Pioneer had announced the latest additions to its Style Series line of headphones. The new collection includes the SE-MS7BT (MSRP: $129.99) and the SE-MS5T (MSRP: $69.99).
The SE-MS7BT is a hi-res audio compatible headphone model with Bluetooth, and NCF connectivity. The device features 40mm drivers for deep lows and a lightweight CCAW voice coil for higher frequencies. In addition, the headphone are capable of remembering up to eight paired devices and includes controls integrated into the earcup. Supported audio formats include supports Qualcomm aptX audio and Advanced Audio Coding (AAC). Battery life is rated for 12 hours of continuous use.
Meanwhile, the SE-MS5T is also a hi-res capable headphone and features a similar design as the SE-MS7BT with a 40mm driver and CCAW voice voil. The device also uses fully enclosed, cushioned earcups for a comfortable fit and includes an in-line microphone and control for answering phone calls. With that said, the unit does not support wireless audio tech like Bluetooth.
The SE-MS7BT (MSRP: $129.99) is currently available in silver, black, and tan. Likewise, the SE-MS5T (MSRP: $69.99) is currently available in black and silver, with red and tan versions set for a spring release. Both models will be on display at CES 2017 this week in Las Vegas.
Beyond the new headphones, Pioneer will also be highlighting several new home entertainment products at the show, including the MRX-3 wireless multi-room speaker, Pioneer's next-generation XDP-300R digital audio player, and the Pioneer Elite FS-EB70 Network Sound Bar System with 360 degree DTS:X and Dolby Atmos surround sound support along with full 4K Ultra HD HDR 10 passthrough.
