Oscar-winner Philip Seymour Hoffman was found dead Sunday afternoon in his Manhattan apartment.
Law enforcement officials have confirmed that Hoffman was found dead of an apparent drug overdose. Additional details are still being reported.
Hoffman was born in Fairport, a suburb of Rochester, New York, on July 23, 1967. He won the Academy Award for Best Actor for his title role in the 2005 film 'Capote.' He leaves behind a son and two daughters from his longtime relationship with designer Mimi O'Donnell.
