The Farrelly Brothers' 1996 bowling comedy heading to Blu-ray in September has now been fully detailed. Have you ordered your copy?
As previously reported, Paramount has revealed 'Kingpin' is planned for Blu-ray on September 9.
Woody Harrelson is Roy Munson, a pro bowler who seems destined for greatness, or as close to greatness as a bowler can get. But after a run-in with angry competitors, Roy finds himself sadder, wiser and minus one bowling hand. Years later, he meets the naïve Ishmael (Randy Quaid), an Amish bowling whiz, and Claudia (Vanessa Angel), a sexy vixen with brains. Together they set out for a million-dollar tournament in Reno. Will Roy and Ishmael win the big match and score fame and fortune? Or will all their hopes and dreams go barreling down the gutter?
The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a lossless 5.1 soundtrack, and the release will include both the PG-13 Theatrical and R-Rated Extended Cuts. Supplements will include: Commentary by directors Peter & Bobby Farrelly, Kingpins: Extra Frames With The Farrelly Brothers, and Theatrical Trailer (HD).
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $22.98.
