Paramount Home Entertainment has announced it will bring the sleeper hit 'Disturbia' to Blu-ray and HD DVD this August.
A loose teen remake of Alfred Hitchcock's classic 'Rear Window,' 'Disturbia' stars current "It" boy (and future young Indiana Jones) Shia LeBouf. The film surprised industry observers when it topped the spring box office for three consecutive weeks, and has currently grossed over $80 million at the domestic box office.
Paramount has not yet announced specs for the title, but it will debut the sleeper on Blu-ray and HD DVD simultaneous with the standard-def DVD. The street date has been set for August 7. 2007.
Both next-gen versions will retail for a suggested MRP of $39.95.
We've added a new listing for 'Disturbia' to both our Blu-ray Release Schedule and HD DVD Release Schedule, under August 7. Watch this space for full specs to be announced soon.
