The sluggers of 'Major League' are coming to high-def, with Paramount Home Entertainment alerting retailers to a mid-May Blu-ray release for the hit comedy.
Starring Charlie Sheen and Tom Berenger, 'Major League' turned out to be one of the sleeper hits of 1989, and eventually went on to spawn not one but two subsequent sequels.
The studio has announced that the original film will make its Blu-ray debut on May 12. (At press time, Paramount has not announced a high-def release for either sequel.)
There are no tech or supplement specs available as of yet, but as always, we'll keep you posted.
Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $29.99.
