The rollout will be slow, with no specific release order announced at this time.
PS Vita owners were met with some disappointment when the system launched earlier this year – at least if they wanted to play any of their old PSOne Classics. The system launched without compatibility for these older titles, and until now there have been no specific details on just when we could expect them.
Sony has officially announced a date for PSOne Classics to start rolling out, and that date is August 28th – just a few weeks from now. A specific launch order has yet to be announced, but indications are that we’ll be seeing certain titles pretty early on. Expect to see big games like ‘Final Fantasy VII’ and ‘Twisted Metal 2’ launching very soon.
