Sony manages to continue blistering November sales pace.
It's been just over a month since Sony announced that PS4 sales had reached 2.1 million consoles. And now following the holiday period where finding a PS4 in-stock was like tracking a mirage, Sony has announced that sales of the PS4 as of December 28th were 4.2 million consoles.
As though the pre-release hype was not enough, it has to be clear now that with more than 7 million new PS4s and Xbox Ones sold in 2013 that consumers were ready to jump in at launch with the new consoles.
Those sales numbers combined with impending launch of PlayStation Now and Sony's cloud-based TV service make it clear that the company is indeed swinging for the fences in 2014.
