PS4 exclusive RPG battling different time periods.
Details for Capcom's 'Deep Down' are finagling emerging months after being teased during the Playstation 4 reveal. This past weekend, the game's producer, Yoshinori Ono, confirmed via Twitter that the game is for the PS4 and will not be for the Xbox One. The game is being built with Capcom's new Phanta Rhei game engine, which was built with help from Sony.
The game exhibits a fantasy setting with knights, dragons, and monsters, but the main setting of the game is apparently in New York in 2094. The fantasy elements appear to be linked to that sterile futuristic setting. The game's levels are dynamic, with level flow and monsters generated at load time. The game will support four player online co-op play.
Further details for 'Deep Down' will be available after the game's demonstration at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show. As of now, the game does not have an announced launch window.
