Japanese PS4 launch no longer a target date.
Capcom's 'Deep Down' is no longer slated for testing in February. The free-to-play online action RPG had previously been stated to begin testing around the launch of the PS4 in Japan. Now though, it seems the game has slipped to much further out.
Producer Kazunori Sugiura, "About Deep Down, I think we'll give full fledged information to everyone after the summer, so you may have to wait for a little while beyond the [PS4] launch on February 22nd."
While the extra time could be needed for all sorts of things, Kazunori Sugiura had this to offer, "Since we don't want to risk being told 'This could have been done on the PS3!' we want to finish a game and fully use the PS4 hardware specs."
The four player co-op title has drawn comparisons in visual style to 'Dark Souls' among other action RPGs, but is has not specifically yet been announced for release outside of Japan.
