Capcom Senior VP Christian Svensson states that Capcom can no longer sell copies of the 2010 Wii fighter.
Tatsunoko vs. Capcom Ultimate All-Stars pitted famous Capcom characters against characters from Tatsunoko Production Co.(including Gatchaman) and originally was released in Japan exclusivley for the Wii in 2008. The game was popular enough to not only crossover for US release but also to spurn the release of an arcade stick for the Wii.
As troublesome as it is to see a popular game leave the sale racks to do an expiring rights issue, the further indication that there will not be any sequels for one of Capcom's few untroubled successes and a memorable Wii title is even worse news.
