New Line Home Entertainment has set a June Blu-ray bow for the Jack Black-Mos Def fantasy-comedy 'Be Kind Rewind.'
Directed by Michel Gondry ('Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind'), the film stars Black and Def as two video store clerks who, after mistakenly erasing the store's entire videotape collection, re-shoot all of the films from scratch.
New Line says it will release the critically-acclaimed film on Blu-ray June 10. (Note that although earlier press reports had indicated a week delay for the 'Be Kind' standard DVD, New Line tells us the flick will be released on both formats June 10.)
The studio has not yet announced full specs for the Blu-ray, other than to confirm a single featurette "Passaic Mosaic" (a tribute to the people and places of Passaic, New Jersey, where the movie was filmed).
Tech specs are also TBA, but we'll keep you posted.
New Line has set a suggested retail price of $39.98 for the Blu-ray.
You'll find preliminary specs for 'Be Kind Rewind' linked from our Blu-ray Release Schedule, where it's indexed under June 10.
