New Line has announced it will bring the comedy 'Mr. Woodcock' to Blu-ray this January, with the HD DVD to follow later in the year year.
The Billy Bob Thornton/Seann William Scott/Susan Sarandon flick finally hit theaters last month after a two-year delay and has earned 25 million at the box office to date. New Line says it will debut the film on Blu-ray January 15, day-and-date with the standard-def DVD. (As with each of New Line's previously-announced day-and-date theatrical releases, the HD DVD will be delayed by several months due to region coding concerns.)
The studio has only issued preliminary details for 'Mr. Woodcock' on Blu-ray, with the disc set to include two featurettes, deleted scenes and the film's theatrical trailer, plus more to be announced. No tech specs were available at press time, but stay tuned.
Retail for the Blu-ray will list at $35.98.
