The last son of Krypton will be soaring to both Blu-ray formats this November!
In an early announcement to retailers, Warner Brothers is preparing 'Man of Steel' Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack and 'Man of Steel - 3D' Blu-ray 3D/Blu-ray/DVD combo pack for November 12.
In 'Man of Steel,' Clark Kent (Henry Cavill) is forced to confront his extraterrestrial past and embrace his hidden powers when Earth is threatened with destruction.
One thing worth noting: the press materials curiously repeat "theatrical version" for each release, possibly meaning an extended or director's cut is also in the works for the future.
The releases will feature 1080p video, lossless soundtracks, and supplements will include: Strong Characters, Legendary Roles; All-Out Action; and Krypton Decoded.
The Blu-rays also have a pair of exclusives: Journey of Discovery: Creating “Man of Steel” – This immersive feature-length experience allows you to watch the movie with director Zack Snyder and stars Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Diane Lane and others as they share the incredible journey to re-imagine Superman; and Planet Krypton – The world’s first exploration of Krypton and its lost society.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is set at $35.99 and the Blu-ray 3D is $44.95, as well as a 3D Limited Collector's Edition (that includes a limited release metal “S” glyph with lucite glass stand) is $59.99.
